How long does it take to build?
Once we have discussed the details of the website with you, it will take approximately 3 - 5 days to design and configure. We will send you a list of information we require which must be provided before we can begin.
How does the credit card payment system work?

We recommend Payfast, a secure South African payment gateway. At checkout, customers are directed to payfast.co.za to complete their credit card purchases.


Their fees are approximately 4% of the transaction amount.

What type of training is provided?

Once the site design is complete, we will arrange to Skype chat with you. The Admin Panel is very easy to manage, and we will instruct you on managing your products, customers and orders. The training should last about 30 minutes and you should be on your way.


We are availabe to answer questions and give advice.

Are there any extra charges?

We include our Basic Hosting Plan with the E-Commerce site. This plan offers 100mb of disk storage. Should your website or email files exceed the disk storage limit, you will be required to upgrade to our Standard Hosting Plan at an additional R50 per month, which is the difference of the Basic Hosting Plan.


We do not charge for any minor changes or amendments you may request, provided they can be done within a few minutes. For more complex changes or amendments, our standard hourly rate is R350.

Terms & Conditions

  • Afriweb (“Provider”) will design, configure & host the “Website” for the “Client” as a service for R389,00 per month.
  • Client must register on the Afriweb.co.za website and accept the Terms and Conditions as stated herein.
  • Client must a register a new domain or transfer their exisitng domain to be hosted by Afriweb.
  • Provider shall retain ownership of the Website and the Client agrees to have no claim to any part of the Website or content thereof should the service be cancelled by the Client or the Provider.
  • Client must sign a debit order for monthly payment fees.
  • Client may cancel the service at any time, providing 30 calendar days notice to the Provider, at which time the service will be cancelled and the Website will be disabled.
  • Client agrees that should the service be cancelled for any reason whatsoever, that they will have no claim against the Provider for any losses incurred whatsoever.
  • Client will be responsible for updating and managing the content of the website including products, images, prices, specials, promotions and any other information required to maintain the Website.
  • The Provider shall provide the Client with the knowledge to be able to successfully administer the Website content and shall provide basic support from time to time.
  • Should the client require changes or additions or amendments to the functionality or coding of the Website, and the Provider agrees that it is within the scope of their ability, then the Provider shall provide a quotation estimate which the Client must accept before such changes, additions or amendments are executed.
  • The Client agrees to hold the Provider, their agents, representatives, service providers harmless of any losses which may occur whether due to accident, negligence or circumstances within or beyond the control of the Provider.
  • Free hosting provided with this service is provided on the Basic Hosting Plan. The Client can upgrade the Hosting Plan at any stage at the rate of difference for the new plan.
  • The Provider reserves the right to add to or amend these terms and conditions from time to time which the Client agrees to accept without prejudice.
